About Serena
I am a passionate violin instructor with eight years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My approach blends classical tradition with creative expression, helping students develop both technical skill and musical artistry. I focus on essential techniques such as bowing, vibrato, phrasing, and interpretation to bring music to life across a range of styles. Lessons are designed to be engaging, personalized, and suited to each student’s goals. I provide guidance for ABRSM and Trinity exams, ensuring thorough preparation and confidence in performance. Orchestral coaching is also a key part of my teaching, helping students navigate ensemble playing and collaborative music-making. I emphasize listening, musicality, and emotional connection, encouraging students to express themselves fully through their instrument.
