About Maya
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My teaching is shaped by a passion for exploring the deeper connections between mathematics and the natural world. I encourage learners to think independently, explore patterns, and develop their own style of problem-solving. Instead of memorisation, I emphasise reasoning and discovery, which creates long-term understanding. My sessions are interactive, allowing students to ask questions freely and connect their ideas to larger mathematical frameworks. For those working on research, advanced assignments, or personal projects, I provide dedicated support and feedback. Each student is guided with patience and care, helping them find their unique way of approaching complex theorems. My goal is not only to help learners succeed in exams but also to change how they think about mathematics.
