Perfect! Sophie is an amazing tutor. She is engaging and makes learning fun. She teaches my 17 year old son who has zero interest in learning French and he is actually enjoying their sessions. That says alot about her skills.

Sophia’s knowledge of the French language and culture, along with her patient and cheerful teaching style, really makes her stand out.

She uses all sorts of fun resources, like videos, exercises, and conversation practice, which keeps learning really exciting and well-rounded.

When and why did you develop an interest in teaching French?
I developed an interest in teaching French during my college years. I majored in French literature and linguistics, and I was captivated by the beauty and complexity of the language. The desire to share my passion for French culture and language with others naturally led me to teaching.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
I'm passionate about French because it's not just a language; it's a gateway to a rich cultural heritage. French literature, art, history, and cuisine offer endless opportunities for exploration and enjoyment. The intricacies of the language itself, with its unique expressions and idiomatic phrases, are fascinating to me.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I enjoy tutoring because it allows for personalized, one-on-one interaction with students. I can tailor my teaching methods to suit each student's individual needs and learning style, which leads to more effective learning. What makes me a "Superprof" is my dedication to my students' progress, my deep knowledge of French, and my ability to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
