About Fiona
I trained in fashion and textiles at Saint Martins School of Art for four years, I have designed freelance for many brands and am currently studying for my MA in Fashion and Lifestyle Brand Studies. I have also owned my own Womenswear store, and most recently worked as a freelance personal stylist. I have been involved in fashion design, illustration and interiors for over 25 years.

I formulate simple briefs for my students to be worked through together, encouraging them to research thoroughly and not be afraid of experimentation, reinforcing the need to back this up with solid art and design skills. I advise always carrying sketch books and drawing every day, following favourites artists and designers and researching their work to see how they became successful. By teaching how to produce a solid research base and good basic skills, interesting work, with encouragement and constructive feedback, will follow.
