About Ella
I am a student in my third year of studying fashion design and marketing, I studied level 3 art & design as a whole at college achieving distinction as well as doing GCSEs in art and textiles gaining two A’s. I have learned and completed a variety of different aspects such as drawing, painting, sculpting, hand sewing, creating and marking sketch books. As well as (often over looked but equally as important) excelled in the written side, i.e reviews, annotations, conclusions and essays.

I like to teach with a very hands on approach, I love to provide students with a huge array of example and influential work, and I’m massively keen on note making and leaving a written train of thought as work is done. I know from personal experience how much of a help it is to have physical evidence of why I went down certain routes, written in my own words, and highly encourage students to do the same. In teaching I want to offer the broadest spectrum of inspiration and learning I possibly can which is why I often like to push students to break out of their comfort zone and use mediums and tools they’ve never used, often surprising themselves with a high quality outcome. My teaching is very much personalised as everyone is different and has different strengths and weaknesses to work on, so I tailor my classes to reflect as such.
