About Vena
I am a fashion technical designer and Parsons graduate with 20 years of experience in the New York fashion industry. I have worked with brands including Zac Posen, Tory Burch, Victoria’s Secret, DKNY, and Ann Taylor, with experience ranging from high-end luxury to mass-market production. I have also been teaching sewing and patternmaking for over 10 years. I enjoy sharing my professional knowledge and helping students build confidence in their skills.

My lessons are tailored to your skill level, goals, and the garment you want to create. I teach sewing, patternmaking, and garment fitting with a practical, problem-solving approach developed through 20 years in the fashion industry and 10+ years of teaching.
Lessons can include garment construction, pattern drafting and alterations, fitting adjustments, and troubleshooting fit issues. We can work on your own project or focus on a specific skill you want to develop.

- The first free session is an introductory consultation, typically 30–45 minutes, to discuss your goals, experience, and project. This session is focused on understanding what you need and planning how I can best help you.
- The first paid lesson is 1.5 hours, with 30 minutes complimentary. Subsequent lessons are 1 hour. 5% off when you prepay for 5 lessons.
