About Destiny
Standing in a dusty circle at a festival jam session is where I truly learned to play. My 11 years of playing for crowds and my degree from Belmont University inform how I transmit music to hobbyists, kids, and grade exam candidates.
I have taught 192 students who wanted to find their own sound outside of a textbook. Structure is important, but listening comes first. Ear training is the foundation of all string playing before we even glance at a page of notation. You will develop rock solid intonation through my method.
I guide you through double stops, vibrato, and complex bowing patterns like spiccato and staccato without ever relying on written music as a crutch. My approach keeps things organic and grounded in the way traditional players actually work. I offer a free trial lesson to gauge your starting level as we define your goals.
