Description:
The students who learn chess develop spatial skills and have shown a marked increase in IQ, memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills. This class will introduce them to the game of chess and help them learn the basic level game. Apart from introducing the chessboard, the moves of the chess pieces, the lessons will focus on :
Introduction to Chess: Its origin, history, and benefits of chess.
Chess men names, values, and powers
Basic chess rules and chessmen movement.
Check and 3 ways to get out a check.
Objective/Purpose of Game: What is Checkmate?
Outcomes/Objectives Of The Classes:
After the classes, the students will be able to learn about concepts such as:
-> Chess origin, history, and benefits of chess.
-> Chess men names, values, and their movement.
-> Check,3 ways to get out of check & Checkmate.
-> Elementary 2 Queen Checkmate.
-> Most importantly, the learner will develop a passion for learning chess.
Session wise Details:
Session 1: Chess History, its origin, and benefits of chess. Also, students will get to know chessmen names and rook movement.
Objective: In this session, students will learn in which country chess was played, its origin, benefits of chess, and rook movement. Learners will solve/practice rook movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 2: Values of chess men and Bishop movement
Objective: Students will get to know about chess men values and Bishop movement. Kids will solve/practice Bishop movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 3: Getting to know chessboard and Queen movement
Objective: Students will get to know about the chess battlefield and the Queen movement. Kids will solve/practice Queen movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 4: Recap of all the lessons and King movement
Objective: Students will get to know the King movement. Kids will solve/practice King movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 5: Pawn movement
Objective: Students will get to know the Pawn movement. Kids will solve/practice Pawn movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 6: Knight movement
Objective: Students will get to know the Knight movement. Kids will solve/practice Knight movement chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 7: Recap of all the lessons & Getting to know what is the check?
Objective: Students will get to know what is Check? Kids will solve/practice Check chess puzzles on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 8: Getting to know 3 Ways to get out a check.
Objective: Students will get to know 3 Ways to get out a check. Kids will solve/practice getting out check chess puzzles with a chess instructor or on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 9: Getting to know what is checkmate & learn elementary 2 Queen checkmate?
Objective: Students will get to know what is checkmate and learn elementary 2 Queen checkmate?. Kids will solve/practice checkmate & elementary 2 Queen checkmate chess puzzles with a chess instructor or on their screen or by remote control access.
Session 10: Recap of Complete Beginners Chess Classes.
Objective: Complete recap of the Complete Beginners Chess Course will be done. Learners will answer, share chess concepts learned and solve/practice chess puzzles.

Students will engage and interact through interactive videos, live explanations, test examples, workouts, and puzzle sections throughout the classes to make learning fun and easy for kids.
External Resources:
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Zoom App. From the trainer's end, the teacher uses (concealed information) or (concealed information) to train the students and solve/practice chess puzzles.
Pre-Requisites:
Pen, a Notebook to write down key rules & points, a laptop/computer/tab/mobile with access to the internet.
