About Sarah
Coming from a background where neither of my parents pursued higher education in the UK, let alone medical school, my current position is a testament to my hard work, resilience, and dedication. This personal journey equips me with the insights and knowledge to effectively advise others.
My prior mentees have described me as being friendly and approachable. I aim to foster an environment where students feel comfortable asking as many questions as they need. My commitment to being reliable and well-organised ensures that each session runs smoothly and efficiently. I offer flexibility with scheduling to accommodate a variety of time preferences, and I am always open to discussing and adjusting plans through clear communication.

My sessions are personalised and last for one hour, designed to meet each student's specific goals. They are typically aimed for students aged 16-18 or anyone who is applying for undergraduate MBBS. I provide valuable resources, tips, and comprehensive advice, including mock medical school interviews. With four offers from prestigious London medical schools, I bring a deep understanding of the application process to support a students applications.
In addition to my ongoing medical studies, I earned First-Class Honours and received formal recognition from the Dean of my medical school for my exceptional research intercalated BSc project during my third year.
I am actively involved in a widening participation program at my medical school, which supports students from underrepresented backgrounds. Combined with my own personal experience, this involvement equips me with a robust foundation to effectively guide and prepare students throughout their application process.
