About Kat
I graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2:1 and wrote a 3000-word short story for my dissertation exploring the interchange between grief and religion. Since graduating, I have published a creative blog, through which I share my writing with friends and peers, as I am constantly working to further my skills as an independent writer. GCSE English ignited my passion for writing, and my teacher truly inspired this creativity. Whenever I begin to doubt my skills, I think back to his teachings and it drives me to succeed. I truly hope that I can become a similar guiding figure for you!

30-45 minute literature and language breakdowns focusing on one text per session. Able to run sessions on broader topics such as rhetorical devices, essay techniques, contextual history of a text etc. More than happy to spend multiple sessions on the same things to help you fully get to grips with a text, I know I sometimes struggled to navigate my way through some of my studies too! I have helped to tutor family friends in the past, and hope that my approach will enable you to engage with English beyond the core exam requirements. Let's build a love of English Literature together!
