About Alejandra
I am a film professional and I have dedicated myself to audiovisual editing for 5 years, specifically understanding the post-production processes from the copying of digital material to the completion process of any piece, I have experience in editing series in Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and I have developed short film projects that have been part of creation laboratories at the Cinemateca de Bogotá. The montage process has been indispensable for the cinephilia and visualization of independently recorded material, to alter it and rewrite it on new dramaturgies that are aimed at linear and experimental narrative.

My teaching method is based on the visualization, cinematographic reading and analysis of the material shot independently to identify pieces of video in which you want to work and alter within the montage. Promoting the creation of pieces that start from archive material, video material that we do not use and generate structures from the repetition of moments, whether familiar or personal, for the creation of stories, regardless of the narrative structure but taking it into account for the objective of the piece or short.
