About Emma
I have never been a naturally intelligent person and always worked alongside teachers to achieve everything I have so far. I want to help people achieve their goals even when it feels impossible as I believe we can do whatever we put our minds too!

My tutoring sessions will be catered to the individual! My lessons cover a very wide variety of English topics from verbs and nouns, learning to speak English as a second language and pronunciation, to the field of sociolinguistics.
Personally, my way of learning is through “pretty notes” which I credit highly for success at A level and GCSE. I design individually tailored “aesthetically pleasing” note sheets, flash cards and interactive work sheets.
My degree has involved an interest in pronunciation and an understanding of how complexed the English grammar system can be for a second learner of English. I will work with the individual learner to come up with learning exercises which benefit their individual needs, as well as providing podcasts which reflect real life English speaking situations to aid listening skills.
I am also more than happy to help with personal statement/ university applications and have detailed information and planning sheets fit for this purpose.
