About Joel
I am a Final Year Bachelor of Education Intermediate Phase teaching student with a TEFL and TESOL qualification. I am very witty, funny, and knowledgeable of people and what their needs are, always looking to make the lives of those around me easier. I have been tutoring children for the past 5 years as well as have 4 years of teaching practice within schools in South Africa allowing for me to establish a connection with learners from different ethnic, cultural, and racial backgrounds, allowing for a more holistic teaching approach to cater to the needs of every possible type of learner.

I use a lot of activity and discussion-based learning which allows you to decide the learning process due to the way you learn, this allows me to make topics relatable to you and to teach it in a way that best suits you. I am a native English speaker but I am capable of teaching learners whose second language is English. A typical lesson with me would consist of fun, laughter, and you remembering what was taught because the lesson I do for you is yours. My lessons are aimed at children between the ages of 10-15 due to my qualification as well as adults who are looking to learn from a new perspective and expect a personalized learning experience.
