About Jasper
I am a university finance professor with advanced training in economics, finance, mathematics, and quantitative analysis. I have years of experience teaching students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, helping them improve grades, prepare for exams, and develop long-term analytical skills.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and highly personalized. I focus on making difficult concepts intuitive by breaking them down step by step and connecting theory to real-world examples from business, markets, and current events. Students appreciate my ability to explain complex material clearly while also challenging them to think critically and independently.
In addition to teaching, I actively conduct academic research in finance and artificial intelligence and regularly present my work at academic conferences. I bring both academic rigor and practical insight into every lesson.

I combine rigorous academic training with a highly practical and personalized teaching style. As a Finance PhD trained in economics, I help students move beyond memorization and truly understand intuition, graphs, math, and real-world applications. My lessons are structured around each student’s goals, whether that means improving grades, preparing for AP/college exams, mastering econometrics, or building confidence in economics for business and finance careers.
A typical lesson includes concept breakdowns, guided problem solving, exam-style practice, and step-by-step explanations tailored to the student’s pace. I emphasize critical thinking and pattern recognition so students can solve unfamiliar problems independently.
I teach high school, college, and graduate students in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Corporate Finance, and related quantitative subjects. What sets me apart is the combination of research-level expertise, real teaching experience at universities, and an ability to make difficult concepts intuitive and engaging.
