About Maico Jade
As a Filipino teacher, my goal is to make learning the national language engaging, approachable, and deeply meaningful interactive learning like emphasizing active communication, open discussions, creative writing, and real-world language application.
Cultural Integration. I connect grammar and literary lessons to Philippine history, contemporary media, and everyday culture so concepts feel relevant and alive.

Critical Appreciation: Beyond vocabulary, I help students develop critical thinking by exploring the deeper themes within classic texts like Noli Me Tángere and modern Filipino works.

Panitikan (Literature): Analysis of traditional and modern Filipino literary works across different historical periods, including classic epics, short stories (maikling kuwento), poetry (tula), and plays.
Noli Me Tángere & El Filibusterismo: In-depth study of José Rizal's landmark novels, examining their historical context, character dynamics, themes of social justice, and influence on the Philippine Revolution.
Mapanuring Pag-iisip (Critical Thinking): Interactive discussions, essay writing, and oral presentations designed to express complex ideas clearly and critically in the national language.
