About Masuma
I am a first class honours graduate in the Biomedical Sciences with many years of tutoring experience. I have worked with children from a variety of learning backgrounds and hope to inspire the next generation. Teaching is a profession that extends beyond a classroom, and I am ready to help those that need a little push to become confident in their learning.
As a private tutor, I was able to gain invaluable skills that would be beneficial when teaching. I was able to deliver lessons to children from KS3 up to A-levels, specifically in the sciences, on a one to one basis. Specifically focusing on areas students found difficult, I tailored each lesson to fit the needs of the child. From creating my own lesson plans and worksheets to assisting students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, I learnt how important it is to engage with students in a way where their curiosity in seeking the answer are encouraged.
I strongly believe that you will find my lesson's engaging and stimulating, in that each time, you will leave learning something new and challenging. I am here to support those who struggle to concentrate and also help student's to reach their highest potential.

I have worked as a private tutor for over 5 years and have made a difference to hundreds of students as a result of my hard work and working style, to suit each student's need. With a combination of stimulating activities, exam styled questions and repetition of core topics, I believe a student's confidence can increase to help them adapt better to challenging subjects.
My lesson's range from 50 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much time is required and I make my lesson's as engaging as possible, so the attention of my student's are not lost throughout. I can adapt to any level or age but typically my student's are aged between 4 years to 16 years old.
I have also worked with children with learning difficulties so I have experience teaching those that may need a little push to show their potential.
