About Kamil
My name is Kamil. I started programming at 12 and have been at it ever since.
I've tutored students in Python and C++, helping them build computational thinking and programming intuition, and I've mentored students in algorithm design, data structures, and building larger applications. I support students with projects and studies at all levels, including A-Level Computer Science NEA coursework, guided within exam board rules. I also take on occasional GCSE and A-Level Maths students.
At university, I began building industry experience through charity volunteering, which led to part-time work in IT consulting and software engineering. I graduated with a first-class degree in Computer Science and I'm now studying for a Master's in Robotics at the University of Nottingham.
Before our first session, I'll ask you a few questions about what you already know, so the first lesson starts at the right level. From there, I tailor each session so it's challenging but always manageable.
Outside of tech, I play guitar and paint to unwind, and I hike around the UK with friends and go on long-distance cycles when I get the chance.

Polish
Computer Science tutoring for GCSE, A-Level and university students, plus support for coding bootcamps and personal software projects. I teach Python, JavaScript and C++, and I know the OCR, AQA and Edexcel specifications.
About me
I'm a Master's in Robotics student at the University of Nottingham and work part-time as an IT consultant. I started tutoring fellow students during my undergraduate degree and have kept going since.
How I teach
I care more about you understanding something than memorising it. In practice, that means I'll often ask you questions rather than hand you the answer, so you work things out yourself and can do it again without me. A good test of understanding is whether you can explain a concept in plain language, so that's what we aim for with every topic.
I also adapt to what you need. If you're close to an exam and need to cover ground quickly, we'll do that.
Lessons and homework
Each lesson is one hour. Afterwards, you get homework tailored to what we covered, which I mark in my own time and return with written feedback.
Lessons are for students aged 12+.
