About Harvey
I am Harvey, a professional live musician, choir instructor, music tutor, choreographer, and musical theatre performer. I have two decades of experience in the performing arts, which is exactly what I want to carry on with. I love to inspire the younger generation (and older!) to try something new, and experience the same joy I have had with learning music. I always want students to go away from lessons smiling, and feeling like they can use the skills learnt in the lesson to progress them further in their desired path. I also believe that perseverance leads to greatness. Nobody is excellent after their first lesson (I know I wasn't!) but after practice, determination, and enjoyment, you can achieve anything.

I enjoy teaching all experience levels and ages. I have experience with teaching ages 5 - 75. My philosophy is that no matter who you are, what you do, or how you live your life... music will always play a part. I want to capture that and teach you how to do it! I always stick to either 30 or 45 minute sessions as a longer can feel like a lot. I want to assist you in your journey of learning but I also want you to feel the same joy I have got from learning an instrument and discovering your talent! I currently am a part-time choir instructor for a national franchise. I am a peripatetic music tutor in singing, piano, guitar, bass and drums. I am also a professional live musician, performing at multiple venues across the country on a weekly basis. I write my own songs, and have amassed over 1000 followers on Instagram. I recently released 3 new singles of my own music too! (So I can offer a hand with songwriting too if you fancy)
