About Rebecca
I am a student English teacher at a top secondary school. I studied English at Durham University where I gained a First Class degree, and have enormous passion for the subject and reading! I have a lot of experience working with young people, tutoring Years 7-11 and also have a year of experience tutoring A Level pupils!

My teaching method is mastery of a subject. For example, if you want to work on essay openings or conclusions, I will give you the steps you need to work on that and we will practice each step until you feel confident with it! Only then will we put it together so you have the confidence and skills to approach it in the future. I will create a scheme of work based on what you specifically want to work on, which we can adjust as necessary.
