About Sinead
Having grown up in the North West I went to Oxford, where I studied English. I went on to complete my masters and doctorate there. During my graduate years I tutored extensively for A' level and GCSE, as well as teaching undergraduates. I was lucky enough to fall into a successful career as an academic after that, and I have been a fellow of a Cambridge College for the last twenty years, teaching undergraduates and graduates but also holding classes for A' level students and tutoring friends for A'level and for Oxbridge admissions. Having recently taken early retirement for reasons of poor health, I am now hoping to help students by tutoring again. Tutoring on-line suits me because I will be splitting my time between Cambridge, Runcorn, and Ireland in the future.

I have taken full part in Admissions interviews and assessment at Cambridge for the past twenty years. Almost all of my teaching at Cambridge and Oxford has been 'tutorial': discussing ideas and essays with one or two student with a view to enhancing their personal development and assuring their success.
