About Vidumini
Hello, everyone! I'm Vidumini Pamuditha, an enthusiastic educator with a first-class honors degree from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka, in which I have consistently been honored on the Dean's list for all semesters. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney, supported by the prestigious Sydney International Student Award scholarship.
With over four years of experience as a teaching assistant and peer tutor, I have developed the ability to create personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique strengths and weaknesses. My approach involves covering essential topics, creating short notes for easy review, and conducting mock exams to help students prepare effectively for their exams.
My passion for teaching comes from my long-term goal of pursuing a career in academia. I am motivated by the potential to inspire and guide students to achieve their best. My diverse background, including my involvement in different educational projects like "Global Classroom" and "World's Largest Lesson," has equipped me with the skills to teach effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
I am dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring for students from Grade 1 to 12 in Maths, Science, and English, whether in-person in Sydney or online. I am excited to help students reach their academic goals with confidence and success.

I firmly believe that each student is unique and intelligent in their own way. My teaching approach involves identifying each student's strengths and weaknesses to create personalized learning plans. I cover all essential topics and work with the student to create short notes for easy review before exams. I use mock exams to help students practice for successful test performance and improve their time management skills. My standard lessons usually last about 1 hour, but I am open to extending the duration, especially near exam periods. With over 4 years of tutoring experience, my lessons are designed for students from Grade 1 to 12, covering HSC, IB, and A-Level curricula.
