About Joanne
I have been performing for most of my life and spent my teenage years being part of a wonderful youth theatre. As an adult I wanted to help give young people access to the same fantastic life experiences I had and I ran a youth theatre for 18 years, taking part in National Theatre Connections for many of those years. Since then I have gained a First Class degree in Acting and have made a couple of small appearances on TV. I am a freelance teacher and am currently delivering OCR Cambridge Technicals in Performing Arts (Acting Pathway) to a Year 12 group at a successful Drama School based in Dorset, as well as teaching LAMDA to Sixth Formers at a local secondary school.

Typically, lessons are 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your own particular circumstances and needs. Breaking down the text and discovering motivations and objectives to give your performance a truthful delivery is the aim. All LAMDA grades taught (from aged 8) however I specialise in LAMDA Acting grades, Bronze, Silver and Gold for older students, as well as assistance and guidance with drama school auditions.
