About Molly
My passion for tutoring stems from a love of learning. During school, I was fascinated by both Biology, which revealed the intricate systems that sustain life, and Psychology, which explored the complexities of behaviour and cognition. My curiosity about how biological processes give rise to behaviour ultimately led me to study Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews, where I recently graduated with a First Class degree.
Additionally, I have gained extensive research experience across multiple laboratories investigating motor neurone disease. Through competitive research internships, conference presentations, talking directly with patients and international collaborators, I gained first-hand insight into the world of scientific research and academia. Subsequently, I was invited to speak on internship panels to advise fellow undergraduates on securing competitive research opportunities. Through this, I discovered an enthusiasm for helping others navigate their own academic journeys.
As a tutor, I combine specialist subject knowledge with a supportive and personalised teaching approach so that students build confidence and achieve their goals. Whether preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels or competitive university applications, I aim to equip students with the skills needed to succeed. I also offer focused mentorship for those interested in pursuing careers in Psychology or Neuroscience.

Are you looking to build a competitive university application for Biology, Psychology or Neuroscience? I offer university application strategy consultations, involving guidance on specific courses suitable for current predicted grades and desired career options, timeline planning, personal statement brainstorming and extra-curricular reading suggestions and discussion. I can also provide advice on student life at the University of St Andrews, including the transition to university, module selection, accommodation, university traditions, internal internship schemes and an introduction to the unique 20-point grading scale with example work.
Consultations are charged at £60 per hour. While my Superprof profile states that the first 30 minutes are free, this applies to tutoring lessons only. As this is a paid consultation service, the free initial meeting does not apply.
