About Megan
I graduated top of my cohort with a First Class LLB in Law with Politics, before going on to pursue a Master’s degree (Bachelor of Civil Law) at the University of Oxford on a prestigious scholarship. I have since remained at Oxford, where I am currently undertaking doctoral research on the age of criminal responsibility in England and Wales from a children's rights perspective. With experience both as a high-achieving student and as a current member of the Criminal Law teaching team at Oxford, I have a deep understanding of what is required to excel at top law schools. My aim is to share that insight with students and help them achieve their academic goals in a friendly and supportive environment.

I’m approachable, friendly, and patient, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit your individual learning needs. My lessons are interactive—I ask questions, encourage you to think analytically, and help you develop your own ideas, rather than simply lecturing for the entire session. Each lesson is typically structured in two parts. In the first half, we’ll cover a clear summary of the key legal principles and cases, supported by downloadable slides. In the second half, we apply that knowledge through practical exercises, focusing on essay and problem questions similar to those set by examiners. My teaching is designed with First-Class results in mind. I’ll guide you step-by-step through mock questions, helping you understand how to structure strong answers and meet examiners’ expectations. Lessons are continuously updated to reflect the latest legal developments, including new legislation and key cases.
