About Alison
I'm Alison, a first-year medical student at University of Cambridge. Having recently gone through the medical admissions process myself, I know first-hand just how demanding it can be. I want to share the knowledge and insights that I have gained from my own experience to support students in achieving their goals and building their confidence.

Over the past couple of years I've developed my experience in tutoring and have worked with a wide range of different pupils. This experience has taught me just how important adapting to each individual is, which is reflected in my personalised teaching style. I believe that a friendly and open learning environment is important to build confidence and help pupils reach their full potential. I am also flexible and happy to adjust the length of the lesson (30, 60, or 90 mins) to what students feel they need.
I believe that UCAT preparation should be structured and focused on the individual strengths and weaknesses of each student - I'm happy to go through specific sections or whole mocks.
Likewise, I'm happy to help with MMI-style interview practice through both content learning and practice questions to help students where they feel necessary.
