About Kristen
I retired from the world of culinary arts during COVID-19 pandemic. It really put a dent in my career. I decided to work with children with disabilities instead as a Behavior Therapist. My passion for cooking never stopped. It actually grew because I wasn’t doing it for a paycheck anymore. Cooking will always be part of my DNA. I come from multicultural background which only enhances my skills. I am fascinated with cultures and the way they prepare food. I studied a lot to learn different techniques. I have a wide range of knowledge including vegan, special diets (like Keto, Paleo etc.), gluten free, and many more. My goal in life is to just help people become better versions of themselves.

As a mom of four I have become so passionate about teaching others how to cook and prepare meals. Especially the parents of my children’s friends. I get picky eaters to eat and enjoy food prepared the way my grandma taught me. I have just always gravitated towards cooking. It is therapeutic for me. Sharing what I know will only spread the love. I went to culinary school and have been working in the vast industry of culinary arts and hospitality for 20 years. My lessons will be fun, and customized to your needs. I look forward to working with you!
