About Mel
As a former chiropractor I have formal training in anatomy and physiology through the doctoral level, as well as over eight years of hands-on experience and continuing education. In my chiropractic office, teaching anatomy, physiology and nutrition were part of my everyday. I left chiropractic due to health issues but would love to help share my knowledge with others so they can propel themselves to whatever educational goal they have!

My tutoring experience is twofold, and using my experience from both sides of the coin I can better help others truly learn and grasp the concepts. I received tutoring off and on throughout my education and first became a tutor in high school, tutoring all subjects below me but specifically sciences, math and English. I've studied anatomy and physiology through doctoral level of education. I have over 8 years of hands-on experience which allows me to bring lessons off the page and into real life. We all learn differently and for that different tactics are applied. Some of us learn by doing, others by watching and listening, and I will lean on whichever method works best for my client. I can help understand the big picture and/or minor details. Lesson plans will be catered towards the client's goals and objectives, and will be altered based on progress to match the client's needs.
