About Esther
I hold a Commerce degree from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. I later built my professional career at Deloitte Canada, working in consulting on data, AI, automation, and business transformation projects for major financial-services clients.
My consulting experience strengthened my skills in problem-solving, stakeholder communication, business analysis, and presenting ideas clearly to different audiences. I also supported Deloitte’s corporate recruiting activities for approximately two years, giving me firsthand insight into how employers assess applications, interviews, professional communication, and a candidate’s overall fit and potential.
Alongside my consulting career, I worked as a professional career mentor with DreambigCareer (DBC), a career coaching platform. I supported students from different academic and professional backgrounds as they prepared for internships and full-time opportunities in Canada.
Having experienced Canadian education, job searching, professional mentoring, corporate recruiting, and career development myself, I understand both the candidate’s perspective and what employers look for. My coaching style is honest, structured, encouraging, and focused on practical advice that students and professionals can apply immediately.

My coaching is practical, personalized, and grounded in how employers actually assess candidates. Drawing on my Deloitte consulting background, experience supporting corporate recruiting, and professional career mentoring experience, I share real-world insights from both the candidate and corporate sides of the hiring process.
Each session begins with your target role, current experience, challenges, and goals. We then assess how well your profile matches the position, identify gaps or overlooked strengths, and determine how to position your experience clearly and credibly. You will leave each session with specific priorities and an actionable next-step plan.
Depending on your needs, sessions may cover resume and cover letter development, job-search strategy, interview preparation, networking, personal branding, internship and full-time recruitment, or career transitions. I can also help working professionals navigate career development within a company, including building visibility, communicating impact, managing stakeholders, seeking promotion opportunities, and making thoughtful decisions about their next move.
My approach is not based on generic templates. Advice is tailored to your background, industry, target positions, and career stage. These sessions are suitable for university students, recent graduates, job seekers, career changers, and early-career professionals across different industries who want to understand the Canadian job market and approach their career decisions more strategically.
