About Anna
MA in Leadership from UCL's Institute of Education
CCCU (Teach First) PGCE Secondary English (Graded Outstanding)
2:1 Degree in Theatre, Film and Television from University of Bristol.
I spent 5 years teaching in secondary schools in London. During this time I secured a 100% grade 9-5 English GCSE pass rate.
I now coach university graduates, supporting them to develop professional skills for the workplace at a top Technology consultancy in London. I conduct Final Interviews with graduates on a weekly basis so really know what interviewers are looking for from graduates.

I take a warm and nurturing approach to pedagogy, whilst still holding tutees to account and pushing them to achieve the best.
My lessons can range from 30-60 mins in length and can be structured as a sequence of learning or to specifically target an identified area for improvement.
I will spend the first session getting to know my tutee and assessing their needs to ensure that I come up with a targeted and impactful intervention plan, tailored to each student.
I am a big believer in the power of modelling and providing examples of excellence to students. I will frequently probe and question to encourage answer development and depth.
Knowledge is at the crux of all exam success so teaching strategies for retention is key; I teach a range of these strategies to my students.
I also offer presentation and interview skills coaching for all levels, particularly specialising in graduate level interview and CV support.
