About Pablo
I've been a goalkeeper since I was young, playing D1 high school soccer, two years with the Cape Breton (Nova Scotia) Selects team in Canada, and training at camps at Duke and Rice. I currently play goalkeeper for Parsons' varsity competitive club team, so I'm still actively playing and staying sharp, not coaching from memory. I know what it's like to be a young goalkeeper trying to figure out the position, and I take real care in making sure every player I coach feels supported, confident, and genuinely enjoys the game.

My coaching method is technical and repetition-based — we break goalkeeping down into its core pieces (footwork, hand positioning, shot-stopping, distribution) and drill each one until it becomes instinct, then bring it together in game-realistic scenarios. But goalkeeping should be fun, not just drills, so every session mixes in competitive games, challenges, and moments to just enjoy being between the posts — kids learn faster and stick with it longer when they're actually having a good time. A typical session warms up with footwork and handling drills, moves into shot-stopping technique, and wraps with a game-like challenge to make the pressure fun instead of stressful. Sessions are for youth and teen goalkeepers at any level who want to build real fundamentals while actually enjoying the game.
