About Taylor
I am a 25-year-old female who decided to step out of the classroom and help students with their learning in a one-on-one way by becoming a tutor. From the teaching perspective, it can be challenging to ensure all students master the content within a specific time frame, and from a student perspective, this can often be overwhelming and frustrating. With my assistance, you will begin to grow your confidence in your math skills and pass your class with ease and support!

In my experience, math teachers have a tendency to rush through their work quickly leaving you confused and lost on step one or have a unique ability to bore you to sleep before the lesson begins. This can make learning and mastering the concepts difficult and giving up seems like the only option. But, great news- it doesn't have to be!
In my lessons, I will break down the steps in an easy and simple way that you can understand. Once you are confident with the basics, only then will we move forward. No more feeling lost and confused!
I believe in using the I Do, We Do, and You Do teaching technique that allows you to observe and listen first, practice the skill step-by-step with me, and then attempt to solve by yourself with immediate feedback to ensure you are solving correctly. Within the one-on-one setting, there is no judgment or pressure to ask clarifying questions and you don't have to wait until the next day to check your homework answers (and no more using PhotoMath on your phone just to complete the homework assignment but having no idea how to solve on the test!)
My lessons are catered for high school level students specifically in Algebra 1/2 and Geometry. I taught all levels of students and can adjust to meet your learning needs.
