About Brian
I am a fourth grade teacher, but am certified to teaching 1-6. I have a Bachelors in English Literature and a Masters in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for over eleven years at the Elementary level. In addition to Language Arts, I have experience in teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am very interested in teaching these subjects across the curriculum.

I look to help my students learn how to be independent learners. I think it is important for students to be curious and learn to ask questions about topics they are learning about. Teachable moments are incredibly valuable. As a curious person, I am always looking to learn new things, and I think kids ask great questions.
