About Ayu
I'm a self-taught artist. Since I was a girl, I've been fascinated by drawing, and I started trying to imitate the comic strips on the last page of the newspaper. Since then, it was a non-stop journey, spending years learning concepts and techniques to improve my drawings.
Many people think that thousands of resources are needed for a piece to be visually "beautiful"; however, many people I know (myself included) started drawing digitally using only our fingers and the touch screen of our phones. Anyone can draw!

Something that frustrates a lot of people is "not knowing" how to draw, however, I firmly believe that we all have the knowledge and ability to develop something that is erroneously known as a matter of "talent": with constant practice you will get to desired results.
Through various drawings, basic techniques and concepts you will learn to draw characters and backgrounds; likewise, you will learn how colour and light influence the final piece.
These practices can be done by anyone regardless of age or level of knowledge, and will be specifically for digital art.
It doesn't matter what software you use.
