About Will
I'm a freelance LAMDA Tutor and Acting Coach. I have over a decade of experience as a working actor in the industry and as a tutor. To date, my students have a 100% LAMDA pass rate. Tuition is available in person and online. I offer one-to-one tuition for LAMDA exams, audition preparation, acting technique, character development, diction, and projection, speaking in public, and general confidence. Group workshops are also available. I work with all ages from primary to adult learners. I trained with the Year Out Drama Company and following that the Comeback Company, both in Stratford-upon-Avon. While there I benefited from the vocational design of the course, their strong focus on the ensemble, and their ties with the Royal Shakespeare Company. I have a passion for acting in many forms; including classic and contemporary plays, musical theatre, film, TV, TIE and voiceover. I also enjoy writing my own material and directing for theatre and film. I have appeared in theatre as Malcolm in 'Macbeth', Chubukov in 'The Proposal', Borachio in 'Much Ado About Nothing', John Hale in 'The Crucible', Joseph Freitas Jr. in 'Execution of Justice', Joe in 'Our House', David Bliss in 'Hay Fever', Frank in 'A Vampire Story', William Fields in 'Trinkets Lost', Camillo in 'The Winter's Tale', Odysseus in 'The Homecoming of Odysseus' and Chorus in Seamus Heaney's version of Antigone, The Burial at Thebes.

I firmly believe in an adaptive, personalised approach to teaching, carefully tailored to fit the students' learning style and needs. Will is a fantastic Lamda teacher. I was by my friend Carrie as he has a great reputation in the local Herts area and her son (14) has really been enjoying and excelling at his Lamda lessons. My daughter (9) started sessions with Will in January as 1-2-1's for her LAMDA exams which she really enjoyed. However, due to Covid this had to move online, and Will accommodated this well. She had her exam in July which she was very nervous for, but thankfully, to Wills credit she did very well and I am proud of the progress she has made.
She still has weekly sessions with him on Zoom as she prepares for next exam and she looks forward to the Zoom session every week. I would recommended Will to anyone looking for an excellent Lamda or acting tutor!Will is enthusiastic and dedicated, his experience in acting gives his students first hand advice and insight into the industry. He’s patient and works well to bring the best out of each of his students. I would highly recommend him.
