About Skyler
I studied cinema at the University of Iowa and now freelance in the photography and film industry. I have had photos selected for National Geographic's competitions as well as had my work published in different media outlets. I give out practical experience on how to use a digital camera as well as starting to think about what to shoot.

I give lessons to beginning photographers that are looking to learn manual operations on DSLR and mirrorless cameras. I want to go out in the field and begin to think about what makes a good picture, as well as, what things you hope to capture. Deeper into the class a more intensive understanding of composition and story can be included.
