About Ward
Standing before a quiet classroom in the UK for 13 years shaped my focus on linguistics. I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and specialise in preparing students for high stakes entrance exams. My focus remains on idioms and expressions, verb conjugation, and the nuances of liaison and nasal sounds.
Cultural context and accent and intonation are central to my method, alongside exam preparation for DELF and DALF. Pronunciation is a subtle art.

Many students struggle to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and the fluidity of natural speech as they fumble over rolling nasal vowels. During these 10 distinct segments of our time together, I integrate my 13 years of teaching experience with my linguistic training to ensure you sound native.
We move through structured drills to refine your accent and prepare for formal assessment criteria. Since I offer a 6.0 hour free trial lesson to assess your level, I invite you to see if our styles align. I look forward to hearing your progress.
