About Reese
My passion for French began through an interest in languages, literature, and international cultures. This enthusiasm led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages followed by a Master’s Degree in French Cultural Studies. During my 7 years of teaching experience, I have supported learners from a variety of backgrounds and proficiency levels.
I believe language learning should be engaging, practical, and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on helping students build confidence while developing reliable communication skills. I enjoy creating lessons that are adapted to each learner’s needs and aspirations.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural history, and staying connected with developments in language education. These experiences bring additional depth and authenticity to my lessons. Helping students become confident French speakers remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally while building a strong understanding of the language. We work on pronunciation, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, grammar foundations, reading practice, and speaking confidence through interactive and practical activities. I believe learners progress best when they actively use French in meaningful situations.
As students advance, lessons expand into conversation skills, idiomatic expressions, cultural topics, advanced sentence structures, and real-world communication scenarios. Activities include discussions, roleplays, listening exercises, and guided reading tasks that help learners apply French with greater confidence. Every lesson is tailored to suit individual goals and learning preferences.
I create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning from mistakes. Confidence develops through consistent practice and encouragement. My goal is to help learners become capable French speakers who can communicate effectively while appreciating the culture and richness of the language.
