About Minia
Hello! I’m an experienced French tutor (French is my mother tongue) with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Intervention, and I’m passionate about helping students of all levels achieve their goals. Beyond teaching, I have a deep love for nature and outdoor activities like running, climbing, kayaking, and more. These interests help me bring energy and enthusiasm into every lesson, as I believe that learning should be both effective and enjoyable. With my Bachelor’s degree in Sports Intervention, I create a dynamic and motivating learning environment while being attentive to individual needs. My experience in sports allows me to understand students with busy schedules or those who have a more practical approach to learning. My approach is based on active understanding and adapting to the specific needs of each student. I promote active participation! The main techniques I use are: - Communicative method: The focus is on using French in real-life situations. - Action-based approach: Practical scenarios such as role-plays or dialogues. - Digital tools: Use of online resources, apps, and videos to make learning more engaging. - Revision and feedback: Regular feedback to correct mistakes and promote progress. A Typical Lesson Plan: - Introduction (10 minutes): Informal discussion to warm up the student. - Revision (15 minutes): Review of key concepts covered in previous lessons. - Main activity (20 minutes): Interactive exercises or discussions. - Feedback (10 minutes): Reflection on the lesson and identification of areas for improvement. Who the Lessons Are For: I offer French lessons for all levels, from middle school to university, as well as for adults. My lessons are suitable for students who: 1. Want to improve their French speaking and writing skills. 2. Want to improve their grammar or vocabulary. 3. Have specific needs (interview preparation, presentations, etc.). I adapt to the varied goals of each student, whether academic or professional.
