About Doriane
Hi,
I'm french and moved in the UK 5 years ago. I have done all my education in England so I am fluent in english. I go to Queen Mary's University doing Business Management. I have taught kids french before. The advantage I have is the real french accent, the real french expressions etc compared to some teachers in schools who have more of a british accent. I can teach grammar (very important with french), vocabulary, pronunciations, expressions and communication in general. I aim to speak mainly in french during my classes as I believe it is the best way to learn a language. I also believe in watching movies and listening to music in the language you want to learn. I can teach any level, and can provide recommendations of what to do to learn quicker outside of lessons.
I am very patient and kind. I will adapt to the paste at which my student needs to learn.
In addition to French, I love to tutor geography, maths and psychology which I studied for my Levels. I also teach KS3 students science (including my own little sister).

I started studying French before GCSEs with an almost non-existent language base and Doriane really helped me in not only learning the language but also improving my skills and becoming more confident in speaking french. Her lessons were always well planned and carefully tailored to my needs, which was amazing. Thanks to her I got an A in my speaking assessment and an A* in my writing one! I can, without any hesitation, recommend Doriane for anyone wanting to learn or improve their french.
Doriane tutored me in French for my GCSE and A-level. The fact she is fluent in both french and English is very helpful as she can explain thoroughly anything, including the toughest part of another language (in my opinion), grammar. She is very friendly so I always looked forward to being tutored by her.
