About Marie
I grew up and completed my studies in French-speaking Belgium, and have been residing in Canada now for four years. I previously worked as a TV and newspaper journalist, and communications specialist. I hold a double Masters degree in Law as well as Communications & Journalism. I’ve also worked as a substitute teacher in a high school setting, and through this work I discovered my passion for teaching. I am tri-lingual (French, English and Dutch). Since my arrival in Canada, I’ve personally underwent training to improve and perfect my English, and so I have a good grasp of what it is like to learn and improve one’s understanding of a new language.
