About Alice
Having more than a decade's worth of piano playing experience, I'd love to help aspiring pianists discover the joy of piano. I have excelled in theory exams (Advanced rudiments, harmony etc.) and finished the certification program from RCM and the Trinity College of London. I can confidently teach at an intermediate level and have lots of experience working with children.

For our first class, we will set goals for your piano playing journey. Whether that is learning to play pop songs, learning classical piano, familiarizing yourself with basic music reading, or any other possibilities. After having set the overarching goals, we will do some practice exercises in class (or look into a piece you want to learn); often, these exercises will focus on the fundamentals of piano, such as scales, sight-reading, arpeggios, key fingering, hand positioning etc. At the end of our session, I will assign some short practice pieces (which we will go over together before I leave) to play at home before our next session. If you have any questions after the session, I can always be contacted on the phone.
