About Serena Elizabeth
Hi, I'm Serena and I'm currently a Psychology with Education Undergraduate at UCL. I believe that every individual has a unique way of learning, therefore after the first session, I will adapt my teaching methods to suit the learning style and level of every individual student. I am very friendly, personable and patient. I very much enjoy working with children, but I am very open to teaching anyone up to A Level. My hours are flexible and I can travel if need be. I'm very familiar with the GCSE and IGCSE English Language and English Literature syllabus, A Level English Literature and Language syllabus, and could definitely familiarise myself with IB English HL if required! I achieved Top in Malaysia for English Literature IGCSE in 2017, an A* in English Language and Literature A Level, and full marks for my AQA English Language and Literature Non-Exam Assessment in 2020. I'd like to think I'm very fun yet professional in my teaching style, and I'm good at getting people engaged in lessons without feeling stressed or overwhelmed! I've had experience working with children from the ages of 5 to 14, and have run study groups for IGCSE students as well.
