About Anna
Throughout my educational career leading up to my undergrad in Political, Social and Human Sciences at the University of Cambridge, I secured A* in my English Language and Literature A level, full marks on my NEA comparative coursework and 9s in GCSE with speaking distinction, including a Merit in LAMDA Public Speaking and Acting whilst being an international student in the UK. With my sustained interest in humanities like History and Politics, I also completed a 52/54 EPQ Dissertation and was an active member of my school’s student body as a prefect and Head of multiple societies such as Model UN and History, IR and Politics society. Hence, I have extensive experience in academic excellence, supporting other students academically and pastorally and believe I can help you (yes, you!) reach your utmost potential!

I take a student-focused approach where I work to amplify strengths and refine weaknesses to make you more confident at not just writing essays, but also intuitively engaging with and acing critical material beneficial for any humanities subject! Active recall, asking clarifying questions, deep content discussion all copy the Cambridge supervision style I have at university and believe to be most effective for pupils at all levels. A typical lesson with me will last 45 minutes to an hour depending on the age and needs of the student; with my learner-focused approach to make sure I effectively cover all needed areas the student deserves clarification on and actively ask questions and request feedback to maintain the quality of my tutoring.
