About Mariia
I am a friendly and dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of formal music education and completed AP Music Theory. I currently teach several students, which has given me real experience working with different ages and learning styles. I teach in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, and I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel confident and comfortable. My goal is to make learning piano enjoyable, understandable, and motivating for every student.

My lessons are structured, clear, and personalized to each student’s goals. I work with beginners and early-intermediate players, helping them develop strong piano technique, hand position, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical expression. Students can choose to learn music theory alongside playing, whether they want help reading notes, understanding chords, or exploring how music works. Every lesson is paced to the student’s level, with a balance of learning songs, practicing technique, and building confidence at the instrument.
