About Camille
As a guitar educator with 7 years of experience, I support students in becoming confident, expressive musicians. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with a Contemporary Styles emphasis, which shapes my modern and versatile approach. I focus on creative development through composition, arrangement, and improvisation. Lessons are structured yet flexible, adapting to each student's musical goals and style. Whether we're working on harmony, writing melodic phrases, or structuring a solo guitar piece, my aim is to build artistry alongside skill. I introduce students to counterpoint, demo recording basics, and expressive technique at a pace that suits them. Many of my students write original material, arrange for ensembles, or explore loop-based performance. I welcome both beginners and experienced players into a space that encourages growth and experimentation. With the right tools and guidance, anyone can compose music that feels authentic. Lessons with me are an invitation to discover your unique voice on the guitar. I’m excited to help you create music that inspires you and others.

My guitar lessons focus on unlocking your musical ear so that you can play naturally and confidently. Ear training is at the heart of my method because it connects everything you learn. We work on interval recognition, melodic dictation, and learning to transcribe songs by ear. I help you build these skills gradually, using music you enjoy. I’m especially skilled at guiding Campfire Strummers and Blues Seekers who want to connect emotionally with what they play. You’ll learn to hear patterns, shapes, and changes before you even touch your guitar. We use listening games, targeted exercises, and real songs to develop your ear. This way, theory becomes practical and useful. You'll be amazed how quickly you can pick up melodies and chords. My teaching gives you the tools to play without always needing a guide. Lessons are relaxed but goal-focused. With the right practice, your ears will become your greatest musical asset.
