About Sara
I am a passionate and accomplished tutor with a strong academic background, as well as 3 years of teaching experience across multiple levels. As one of the top 1% of global International Baccalaureate (IB) students, having scored an outstanding 44/45 overall, I bring both academic excellence and teaching experience to my lessons. I achieved a perfect Grade 7 in French, and I currently hold a C1 level in French proficiency, demonstrating my advanced command of the language. Beyond French, I am multilingual, fluent in five languages, which gives me unique insight into the challenges and techniques of mastering new languages. My multicultural, multi-language background allows me to explain French concepts clearly, make connections across languages, and tailor lessons to students from diverse linguistic and academic backgrounds. I am deeply committed to helping learners not only succeed in exams but also develop a genuine confidence and love for the French language and culture

• Communicative Approach:
I focus on practical, real-life communication. Students learn by speaking, listening, reading, and writing actively, not just memorizing grammar rules.
• Personalized Learning:
I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals, and interests. Whether they want to improve conversation, academic writing, or pass an exam, the lesson is customized.
• Immersive Environment:
I use French as the main classroom language from the very beginning, even for beginners (with gentle support in English when necessary).
• Clear Structure with Flexibility:
I build lessons around a structured progression (grammar + vocabulary + practice), but I’m flexible to spontaneous needs (e.g., extra speaking practice if the student is shy, or grammar focus if needed).
• Interactive Techniques:
Role-playing, dialogues, real-world tasks (e.g., ordering at a restaurant, writing a professional email), games for vocabulary building, and authentic materials (songs, videos, articles).
• Error Correction and Encouragement:
I correct mistakes positively — explaining why a mistake happened, and building understanding, without discouraging the student’s speaking confidence.
I genuinely adapt the rhythm, style, and materials to each student — no one-size-fits-all lessons.
• Balance of Formal and Conversational French:
Students learn academic/professional French and casual spoken French, preparing them for real-life fluency and formal needs (like DELF, DALF, IB French, university French courses).
• Cultural Dimension:
I integrate French culture (expressions, etiquette, history, films, songs) into the lessons, making the learning experience richer and more authentic.
• Focus on Confidence:
I specialize in helping shy students, beginners, and those who have struggled in traditional classrooms, building fluency and self-esteem.
• Bilingual Explanation Strength:
I can clearly explain complex French concepts using English when necessary — perfect for academic learners who need to understand why things are the way they are
