Full-time Software Engineer (Comp. Eng. Graduate) Providing Expert Tutoring in Computer Science: C, Python, Java, SQL, and MATLAB (1XXX, 2XXX, and 3XXX Levels)

My son had Mahyar tutor him in Essential Math, Precalculus, and Physics. He explained the lessons really well and made sure that they were understood before going onto the next concept. I would greatly recommend Mahyar to anyone in need of tutoring.

Mahyar tutored me in Comp 1012 at the UofM. He was a classmate of mine in engineering and I saw him around university often. I believe I found his tutor services originally on Nimbus; the tutoring services app for the UofM. I had previously failed this course as it was completely a different way of thinking and required a lot of intuition and logical thinking. Mahyar did a great job of going through the core concepts and each step of understanding. I went through class examples and questions from assignments I found difficult. He also made examples up on the spot to test specific topics I was struggling with. It worked well online as he shared his screen to show me what he was doing. He made sure to go my pace and that I understood before moving on. He was very kind and did not make me feel stupid at any time (which is a fear of mine while getting tutored). I finally passed the course and was more confident in my Python skills afterward. Overall I would highly recommend him as a tutor as he is a great teacher!

Mahyar has provided me with proficient skills to improve my studying abilities, as well as he can easily deconstruct ideas to help further understand concepts at a base level. He has provided nothing but positive, helpful experiences for years.
