About Lorraine
Hi, I'm Lorraine, but prefer to be called Lory.
I'm a bilingual English and Spanish coach/teacher from Puerto Rico (US) currently living in Spain.
I love traveling and learning about different cultures, especially how languages work. I also speak Italian, Portuguese, and a bit of French. I'm also quite artsy; I sing, dance, and act. I just can't stay still.
I love speaking and interacting with new people, so let's meet up and share ideas! :D

I'm a highly dynamic and focused educator. I love to bring as much joy and confidence into the classroom as possible.
As a coach, my goal is to help build your confidence and skills when practicing your targeted language, whether that is English or Spanish.
I have a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, a minor degree in Teaching Spanish, and a Master's in Linguistics.
I have over 10 years of experience teaching students of different ages and countries from China to Colombia, both on-site and online. I'm currently working mostly with professionals who want to improve their communication skills in English or Spanish and, so they can get better work opportunities.
I've worked with professionals from different sectors such as healthcare, marketing, telecommunications, C-suite level, managers, IT, entertainment, finance, and others.
Being aware of my student's needs, my teaching method is personalized. I use the latest teaching techniques and focus on improving communication skills by including the targeted language in the student's daily life in a practical and personal way.
A Language Coach is like a personal trainer, but for communicating in a specific language.
I bound myself to the responsibility of guiding and supporting you in this language-learning mission. However, you must remember that a big part of your progress falls on you, which means that if you commit to working hard on your improvement, you will notice great changes.
We will work on your specific areas of improvement so that your day-to-day interactions in the language become more fluent and natural.
