About Kostas
I have a wealth of professional studio experience as a songwriter, drummer, programmer and producer as well as substantial live performance experience which includes supporting slots with major acts such as Saxon, Winger and Jeff Scott Soto among others. As a drummer and composer my work within the rock and pop genres includes two L.P. releases with EMI, as well as a number of independent releases.
As a film composer I have scored the BAFTA award winning animation short 'Dog' as well as the Channel 4 animation short 'The Hound and the Fury'. My orchestral piece 'Morpheus’s Ecstasy' received 1st prize in the 'First National Greek Competition for Computer Assisted Compositions'.

My name is Kostas and I am an experienced drummer (RSL, Drums: Grade 8 with Distinction), composer and educator.
I offer online and face to face drum lessons. Lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student with a personalised and friendly approach. Learn to play your favourite songs and take your drumming to the next level. All styles covered with special focus on pop/rock, jazz and metal.
Hand and foot technique, double bass, linear drumming, rudiments, stick control, independence, speed, endurance and much more. I also offer tuition for Graded exams, GCSE Music, Music theory and Music Tech.
All ages welcome from 8 years, no upper limit. Beginners to advanced.
I have also studied Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music, London and Composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I am a fully qualified Music Teacher (QTS) with extensive experience teaching in UK Secondary schools. I have taught extensively at Primary, Further and Higher Education level including providing lectures at City University, London.
