About Orlando
Professional guitarist, bassist, teacher, producer, performer. I am familiar with a wide variety of styles and can't wait to share my passion and knowledge with young musicians. I have been a teacher for 6 years with an exclusive focus on Music teaching since 2017. I currently teach a number of musical instruments/ skills in schools including guitar, recorder, ukulele, piano, violin, Djembe drumming, composition and music theory. I am now really excited to be able to guide pupils in a more focused way to become a well-rounded guitarist/ bassist. In my lessons I focus on songs and pieces of music that are exciting and interesting to students. Technique and theory are incorporated but always with a view to playing and performing something interesting and fun. I'm always interested in knowing the musical interests of my students in order that we can learn songs that they like. I will always endeavour to make my lessons joyful and interesting! If we had to nominate the best music teacher in Islington, it would be Orlando. His passion for music and teaching children, engaging his young students with a wide variety of musical experiences is outstanding. Orlando is also very keen to extend his knowledge and therefore stays in touch with different approaches of teaching.
Orlando is an excellent teacher, particularly with primary aged children. He is very patient and is able to find the best learning style for the individual to help them to get the most out of their lessons.
